type 1 diabetes pain in stomach/shoulder blade

I am newly diagnosed type 1, and have been put on insulin injections since the 2nd july. Recently I have been getting a pain in my stomach and across my right shoulder blade through the centre of my chest. It seems to come on quite randomly and can last from 15 mins to a few hours. Does anyone know what this might be?  Is it related to the diabetes?  I have so many questions.  Thanks for any advice.
Michele.

No, I haven't either, and have not heard mention of it (I'm on a website with 15,000 diabetics! If you PM me I'll give you the address and you can ask there). I would certainly see the doctor and have that checked out.
