what are normal sugar levels for non diabetics?

Hello, I've had type one diabetes for 16 years and just recently had a son. He seems to be experiencing mild starting symptoms of diabetes. But, my question is, what is normal in blood sugar levels for a non diabetic?

Much Thanks,

I seem to find all different normal ranges for children.  Anything ranging from 70-200.  Everybody seems to have a different idea.  I have a son (9yrs old) who is a type 1 diabetic and I am very concerned my daughter has it to.  She has been showing signs ie. frequent urination, thirsty all the time, loss of appetite and at times increase.  I checked her glucose levels with my sons meter and it read 124, just confused if its in normal range!!  I think I will make an appointment for her and try to get a fasting glucose test done on her.
