what are your recommendations?
i am 25 years old and i am diabetic from 20 years............i was treated with himulin 30/70 insulin for a years and usually my fasting sugar is high (200-400) and now my new doctor give me lantus and apidra insulin instead of himulin insulin and now my fasting sugar reaches to 215 not exceeded. Are lantus and apidra combatable for me?? and what are the side effects of them??????????

I was on lantus and apedra for years, until I went on a pump (apedra only)
They are compatible BUT DO NOT combine them.
there side effects are the same as any insulin low BG.
Sounds like your BG is coming down (was 200 to 400 now under 215)
my I ask why your BG is so high? With BG that high and another 50 years to live your headed for complications.
