Cooking and the questions begin

Are all sugars bad?  Even Honey and brown sugar?
I have an oil for frying that is grape seed oil and it says it has no carbs...is that ok for frying eggs?
And has anyone heard that taking vinegar can help?  Just curious...sometimes old wives tales hang on for a reason.

For some people it makes a difference if they eat simple vs complex carbs, for example whole grain breads, brown rice, etc. For some it makes no difference at all, a carb is a carb. For all of us all forms of sugar jack up our blood sugar. The key as to what you can eat is to test, test, test. Try eating a favorite food and test two hours later. You want to be under 140. If you are higher than you can't eat that food or at least that portion of that food.

Some people do think things such as vinegar help. My belief is those things are worth trying but they are secondary to tried and true things such as weight loss, exercise and lowering carb intake. Check out the website I sent as they have a whole separate forum on diet and nutrition.
