I was recently diagnosed with Type II and yes the itching is caused by high blood sugar levels. I itched like crazy and didn't know why. Sugar goes down and itching stops. It acts like an meter to me. I know when my sugar is up. I start itching.
JIm are you on medicatiom ? i think iwould tell my Dr about the itching,it could be from your mediacaftion if yuo ae one meds. What is your sugar level ,nd what is a high reading to you/ AHve you had yuor AC1 test done/
