Does a blood sugar level of 134 mean I have diabetes
I haven't been diagnose as having diabetes. In the hospital 3 months ago my blood sugar was between 140 and 180 They gave me insulin on 4 occasions. Other times it was 110. Two other times over the past 3 years it has been 130-140 and they just told me it was a little high. I have been very careful the last 3 months eating no sweets little fruit and juice and it still came up 134. Do I need further testing? Also I read to eat fruits and vegetables on the internet but doesn't fruit have sugar? Is bread bad? How many pieces should I limit myself to? I am also on coumadin. I am skinny and I do walk everyday. Am I worried over nothing?
