Help ME!!!!

I am a 32yr female with Type 2 diabetes my cholesterol is a bit high and my HDL (good cholesterol is almost nonexistence) and my BP is general low (110/67); four nights ago I went to the ER because I was having pains in my chest, difficulty getting air into my lungs and dizziness.  When they did my BP it was 136/96 my BP did eventual go down on its own.  At the hospital they did blood work, EKG and a chest x-ray everything was fine...I am still having difficulty getting air into my lungs, dizziness and occasional chest pains I have also started burping A LOT.  At night I am waking up in a cold sweat.  What could be wrong with me???

Hi Thanks for your comments.  I saw my family Dr my BP is back in normal 110/70.  She sent me for blood work and gave me a puffer to help my breathing...I used the puffer for a couple of days and my breathing is getting better.  I am still a little dizzy at times, having the occasionl pains in my chest and now under my arm???  I am just waiting now for all my blood work to come back.

Thanks once again for your comments.  I hope it is nothing serious.

Get checked for your thyroid.

Also get your Vit D levels checked.

How well is your diabetes controlled?

Low carb diet may actually  help improve for lipid profile.  You can research this.
Avoid transfats and processed foods.  natural unprocess fats like olive, avocado, from nuts may help. Regular aerobic exercise is also known to increase HDL levels along with a glass of red wine on a regular basis.

Please do follow up with your doctor.  Your symptoms are not normal.

Ask about the use of Niacin - it is known to help increase HDL levels.
