was it very serious ?
cause the doctor did not say anything yet ...
That's definately diabetes.
Co
just went to the clinic for a blood test ...currently waiting for the laptest ... but i am kind prepared and accept the fact .. i have also ask the doctor to do a one touch horizon glucose blood test... and the doctor refused to commit or advise at the moment even with the reading...
I understand that the reading for a normal people glucose level is around 4 - 7 mmol ... but mine was at 13.3 mmol even i stop eating yesterday night around 8 pm and did my test at 10am this morning .... think its already the fact... nothing more can change ...
Just hope that the test kit is faulty ... hahah :-)
Drinking soy drinks before glucose test defeats the purpose of the test since soy drinks contain lots of sugars.
Ants in the toilet indicates excessive sugar in your urine. If you have excess sugar in your body, the body tries to eliminate it by way of your urine. This is a marker for diabetes. Go get an A1c test to confirm what your glucose levels are. Lab results are your for the asking by law so always get a copy for your own records.
There is no cure for diabetes but Lifestyle change is the key for all diabetics. Blood sugar levels can be stabilized by improving nutrition, adding exercise and achieving a healthy weight.
i dont think you have diabetes if your sugar returns to normal after a few hours... With me even 6 hours after i eat something high in carbs my sugar is well over 300 if i havent taken my insulin
You need to see your doctor to see if you do indeed have Diabetes. Cure? not for us right now some can control with diet and exercise, others oral (Pills) meds some with insulin only your Doctor can advise you as to what you have or needm Good Luck
I thought some of them in the forum mention that .. if there is ants in the toilet... mean you got a high possibility diagnosed with diabetes ? Anyway ... i am very worried about the result... is there any cure ? or izzit already too late for me ...
ANTS ?????? nothing to do with Diabetes.......Go to the Doc and get yourself tested, He will give you a GTT and that should prove either way if you are a Diabetic Good Luck
