Hey all T2 diabetic on insulin and tablets

Hi all, my name is. Natasha I'm 24 going on 25 soon
Type 2 diabetic diagnosed in July 2015 with an A1C of 14.6
High Cholesterol Diagnosed July 2015
High Blood pressure diagnosed November 2015
Poly Cystic Ovary Syndrome Diagnosed May 2016

I was commenced on insulin and Metforim straight away with my first endocrinologist since my sugars were 11-15mmol/L
Also taking Crestor and Coversyl (5mg to March 2016 10mg)
Commencednon Forxiga after the PCOS diagnosis
thyroxine September 2016 because levels are low
Insulin wise
Began with Apidra and Lantus but changed to Novorapid and Lantus because the Apidra would sting ?
A1C is now 6.1 so I'm getting there
Family history is mum T2 and sister is T1 and extended family several Mixed Diabetics

Everything hit at once for me as you can see

Anyone else have any similar experiences?

Hi, welcome here.  You should probably be checked for type 1 or LADA type diabetes, given all you have going on.  However, insulin is effective.  Glad you are getting good control.
