High blood sugar

I overslept was in a rush and forgot to take my medication this morning, I take 30mg actos and 20mg of glipzide ER, as well as 10mg of Byetta at lunch and dinner.  My blood sugar now is 417.  Is there a way to get it down fast but safely.  I am at work and because of the high sugar am really tired.  Any help would be great.

I will have a back up now.  No I am not on a strict schedule.  I actually called my husband and he brought me my meds. An hour after taking my meds it was down to 265 and then an hour after that it was 133.  I am doing great today.  Thanks, for the advice.

With the oral medications you're on, including injecting Byetta you should be consulting your doctor on what to do for missed dosages. Are you on astrict schedule or can you have an emergency kit at work for times like this? This way you have a backup for times like this. For me 417 is dangerously high.
