Low blood sugar

Is it possible to have diabetes without having high blood sugar?  I've never had a glucose level over 90 on any blood test.  I've had to have labs done several times throughout the last couple of years.  It's usually 70-80.  Once 90.  Never anything else.  I have to go in tomorrow for testing because my urine has had a strange odor.  I don't want to say it's sweet but it's kinda similar.  I've never been overweight and have never had a recorded high glucose level.  My mom and both grandmothers have/had diabetes but they also were overweight, had big bellies and ate horribly, smoked and never exercised.  I have low blood pressure sometimes too...never had high blood pressure.  I would think diabetes would be highly unlikely.....???

My blood pressure is usually 100-110/60-70.

My overall cholesterol was 120.

My trigylcerides were really low at 25 at last check in April.

Ok just wondering.  They recently found several cysts in my breasts and uterus and put me on low dose birth control to see if it would shrink them and then I get tested again in 4 months to make sure it's not "cancerous" so when I started getting this wierd urine odor over the past week, I called my gyno and they said they wanted to do a urine test and check for diabetes.  I'm not/nor have I ever been overweight but I do have a desk job.  And I've had pain over the area of my left kidney since January.  Gastro doctor and cat scan ruled out anything in my other organs but they haven't been able to explain the pain.

a family history puts you at a higher risk and your lab work may have been fasting numbers, which you would expect to be <100 in a non diabetic.  I wouldn't worry about having diabetes at this point.  Being over weight and/or inactive can contribute as well.  If you're concerned, you could get your HgA1c checked, which would give you an idea of your average blood sugars over the past 3 months or a glucose tolerance test, where you drink a sugary concoction and then test your blood sugars periodically to see how your blood sugars respond. Again, I wouldn't go crazy at this point.
