Hi there!

The nerve conduction test, tests for the normal function of the nerves which is conduction of sensory and motor signals; with the help of small electric currents. The normal function of the nerves could be deranged in a few conditions such as neuropathy, which is also known to occur as a complication of diabetes.
Hope this information is helpful.

Take care!
