Stomach Bug and BG

Can having a stomach bug cause your blood glucose to elevate? I am pretty new at all of this and the past three days I have had some kind of stomach bug. All three days my readings have been 140-150. TIA!

Hello,

it is quite normal for blood sugars to be elevated when you are sick.
They should return to normal once you are recovered.

Make sure you keep hydrated with plenty of non-sweetened fluids.

Hope you feel better soon.
