What are the chances of surviving a leg amputation?
Someone in my family has diabetes and she has been having dialysis treatment for over a year now. At the moment, one of her legs is completely dark in colour because she injured her leg. We are worried about the complications if she undergoes surgery. What are the complications?

Your worried about complications from surgery to remove her leg...  if her leg needs to be removed that is because her chances of survival are better without the leg.

there are all kinds of complications a person CAN get from major surgery.  That does not mean they will get any  complications.  talk to her MD to get answers talking to people that dont know her or her medical info, condition, outlook...  is useless you wont get pertinent info about her.
