any brand should be ok, however, best you avoid supplements with added sugar.
To gain weight important will be to have normal blood sugar levels, eat adequate protein (about 1 g / kg of bodyweight), and enough calories (best that these come from healthy fats, rather than carbs, which will not be so good for your blood sugars).
