Why can't diabetics do RF skin tightening?

My aunt has type 2 diabetes. Her blood sugar is stable around 120-140. She wanted to do RF skin tightening for her face, but wasn't allowed to. She didn't have any open wound or infection on her skin. Why did the doctor refuse to give her the treatment?

Hi,
some doctors by policy will refuse to do cosmetic surgery on persons with diabetes.

Her blood sugar level of 120 - 140 is still on the high side.

Maybe if she can improve her control further (low carb eating, exercise), she may look for a second option from a second doctor.
