there is really no magic formula for controlling diabetes. it comes down to:-
- Monitoring blood sugars so you know whether what you are doing is working
- Exercise
- Low carb diet and avoidance of sugars
- Weight loss / normalization if you are overweigth
- Medications (oral or insulin).
Some people take other supplements like cinnamon or some herbs, but these are not solutions by themselves and may only have a small benefit, in addition to the above methods.
