diabetes question

I am a diabetic and I'm injecting  Lantus in the morning and rapid acting insulin before meals.
My question is: I have ordered a pizza delivery and I have  injected the rapid insulin at 7.45p.m and it's already 8.05 p.m and my pizza is still not here.Should I eat a whole sandwich immeadiately and leave the pizza for tomorrow or should I eat a half a sandwich now and eat the pizza when it arrives?

Carbohydrate restriction will only go so far. If you are in your 40's, 50's, or 60's, you can't go on living on low carb food if you are really active. I can't.

There is a reasonable alternative to the American diabetes diet. It's the diet and lifestyle. This is a "wholistic" approach to stemming the cause of type 2 diabetes. All other measures are costly temporary fixes at best.

Stemgevity has been useful for people who have a diabetic condition. Not sure if it has proven results for hepatitis, but from the info I see there is no reason why not.

I'm a little late so I hope you ate something.  I would have said, eat the sandwich and leave the pizza for the next day.  And never inject rapid acting insulin until your food is right in front of you.
