catsrule...
can you "reverse" diabetes?  Sadly, not likely.  BUT, you *can* do a lot to help yourself to control it and very possibly prevent or at least delay complications and problems...  just browse around this forum and you'll find a lot of regulars living (and I mean truly "LIVING!") with diabetes.

You made another post about possibly not taking Metformin... um... if you were prescribed Metformin, it would most very very very likely be because you have been diagnosed with diabetes, so yes, you should be taking it... it helps regulate your blood glucose, and there is evidence that it helps decrease cardiac risks (heart attack, etc) in diabetics as well.

If you're not comfortable with your doctor or if she/he hasn't explained why you need Metformin, please go back/call back that doctor and ask, OR... find a new doctor.

Good luck, and true hope for good health...

I Google'd "reverse diabetes" http://tinyurl.com/35kodd . I found lots of  hits on reversing diabetes with diet and exercise with no real evidence their methods reversed diabetes in humans. Lots of claims but no factual evidence.

I did come across this link for a drug called Rosiglitazone  currently recruiting for diabetes reversal and other illnesses. http://tinyurl.com/2wmnyu

"as you get 60 and order does diabetes get worse "
Only if you let it.

"I've heard it can be turn around where it's gone"
Huh? This makes absolutely no sense. What are you trying to say?
