Hi Joyoel,

I was just wondering if you are feeling any better?  Are you still extremely fatigued? and have you checked back with your doctor?

Hope all is well

Fatigue is tricky to pinpoint because there are so many causes. Have you seen your doctor lately and had lab work including CBC?  Could be low blood count. Metformin can cause vitamin B12 deficiency in some people and this would decrease blood counts leading to fatigue (and generally difficulty with problem solving, periperal neuropathy, etc...) so the lab work would help identify cause. A physical could help pinpoint additional causes - such as heart murmur, decreased heart function, etc....

Also, your blood sugars may be too low for you. Do you recheck levels 2 hours post meals?  A normal blood sugar for someone who is adjusted to high glucose levels takes some getting use - the body needs time to reset itself.

Do you eat meat?  May need some additional protein. Try eating a grilled chicken breast (all by itself - no starches) and see if you feel better. Generally seeking a ratio of 1 Gm Protein to 2 Grams of Carbs.

Are you sleeping at night or are you awakening frequently? Are your covers on the floor in the morning?  Sleep apnea is a common cause of daytime fatigue. Has anyone told you that you snore? Do you fall asleep in the daytime or nod off in front of TV. Do you wake at night needing to drink water beause mouth is dry?

Has your thyroid levels been checked recently?

Lots of causes of fatigue. I hope you find the answer for you.

How active are you? Do you walk every day? What is your diet like? How many times a day do you test? Stress can also be a cause.

Sorry, by keeping everything a secret and to yourself, there is not enough information for us to respond accordingly. Such as
how you control your glucose
when you test
your levels; prandial and postprandial
your weight
your diet
when you're fatigued
medications you're taking
last time you saw doctor
and on and on and on.
