flying with cirhossis

I am planning a 5 hour flight and am concerned about my cirhossis. I have had a varices bleed in the past and do get pitted edema in my feet from time to time. Apart from that i feel and am afraid that i will not be able to fly again. I would appreciate advice.....

The answer is that flying will not have any effect on your medical problems.

Modern aircraft are pressurized to less than 8,000 feet, and this will not cause you to have any additional problems with bleeding.

If you have had an esophageal varices bleed this is quite serious, but is unrelated to flying.
