this is debra mcintosh i dont have any health ins.and i dont have any income iam looking for help buying my test strips

Hi Debra,
Medicare will only allow 2 test per day for me and I test a LOT more than that.I make up the difference from ebay. There are many strip sellers there. I usually get strips for less than half the cost at a drug store. They are factory sealed, and not expired.

Contact the manufacturer of the meter you are using and ask for free strips. Also contact the american diabetes assoc to see if they can help

It would help to know the make/model of your glucose meter. This way we could search the availability and low cost pricing of these unknown test strips. You can start by writing to the mfg to see if they offer free or reduced cost supplies. You also can search for and inquire at free clinics in your area. Use Google search for free clinics XXX, ZZ, where XXX is your city and ZZ the state. Another source which provides links to "free" diabetic supplies is  http://tinyurl.com/diabetes-test-strips
