iam a doctor and i have dignosed sudden dibaties.i want ask about sitagliptin is a short acting or lond acting drug.iam daily use this drug 100mg with metformin 1g morning and 1g in noon and night metformin

Hi there!

Sitagliptin is a long acting enzyme inhibitor with a half life on 8-14 hours. However due to lower efficacy, it is often combined with other oral hypoglycemic for adequate blood sugar control.
