Hello,
if the pain is new, it may not be from Victoza. You need to see your Dr for full evaluation.
One of the possible problems from type 2 diabetes when blood sugar is fairly high (still within range of ada) is called gastroparesis. When the stomach doesn't empty properly due to damage to the nerves that supply the stomach.
Can I ask what your Hba1c is, and fasting blood sugars. Ideally fasting blood sugar is in the range of 70 - 100 (ideally in the 80s), and post eating < 140 (ideally in the 80-120 range). If your blood sugar is higher than this you may need to revisit how you are managed.
Lower carb diet is also very helpful in managing diabetes.
Please come back and tell us what happened / if you saw your dr / updates.
Good news. Control your diet as well and eat lower carb. Sounds like you are on the way doing what you need to!
Glad the pain is gone. good job walking. :)
stop taking Victoza stomach pain is gone .
Back on mediformin and walking 4.8 miles often trying to do it daily.
Sorry you are going through this. My wife is on Victoza. Initially it was a nightmare! Since then, shes found a happy medium. Check your dosage. You may have to turn it down a bit. My wife did and it made all of the difference in the world!
As well, speak with your endo.
