Grains and pre-diabetes

Has anyone tried going grain free? My a1c was a 6.4 and average fasting BG was in 120s.

I've been grain free for about 6 weeks (I did cheat a couple of times and felt sick when I did) and my fasting BG is now in the 90s.

Was hard at first but cravings went away and notice I eat a lot less.

Has anyone else had success going grain free?

I went low carb (carbohydrate)  Diet that necessitates low grain.  Lots of us go LCHF to control BG (Low Carb High Fat)
