36 weeks preg & Gd

On my last visit I was 36 weeks and I measured 41 could my baby be too big? My midwife says its okay but I do want a second opinion. Oh yes I have controlled gestational diabetes.

Hi and thanks for using the forum.

Measuring 41 at 36 weeks is not that far off, especially with gestational diabetes where babies tend to be a little bigger.  Your midwife will continue to monitor your babies growth, if you are concerned, you could always ask to see the doctor in the practice.  Otherwise, I would trust your midwife.  Good luck and congratulations !!  You are almost there!
