Can a diabetic patient use sweet fruits like pineaple, oranges etc.

Hi and thanks for using the forum.

Diabetics can eat fruit as part of a healthy balanced diabetic diet.  Fruits contain a lot of vitmains and minerals are are very good for you.  Fruits do contain carbohydrates and therefore need to be counted as part of the diabetic diet. The American Diabetes Association has a lot of great resources for counting carbohydrates, and other tips/info on diet.  It would be a great resource.  Good luck.  Bridget
