Meter readings are not reliable beyond about +/- 10% of the reading. A reading of 120 can mean your BG is anywhere from 108 to 132, or less or more. Also, it can be astounding how much repeat tests at the same time (within several minutes) can vary depending on which finger you *****, how large the drop of blood is, and how much you move around between the tests. My experience has been don't skimp on the blood droplet size. Larger drops give me more consistent readings
Also you can check your meter to see how far off it is. Use the test soultion that came with the meter and match it to the numbers on the bottle. Making sure your meters in the acceptable range. This is very important because they can be waaay off at times and you need to know this
