injection problems

I have injection site lumps under the skin.I needed surgery as it was quite large and sore.Docs say
it is from skin bacteria? I use alco preps and still get them.Some disolve Some don't.

Hi,
I am very limited because I cannot examine the "lumps" myself. Infections are possible and should be treated aggressively. Persons who inject insulin also have changes under the skin associated with injection of insulin, and your doctor should be able to distinguish this from other problems. Be sure to rotate your injection sites and use sharp needles that you change frequently.
