insulinoma with type 2 diabetes ??

is this possible ?? i am having symptoms of insulinoma but i have type 2 diabetes , my doctors  wont test me because she says its not possible, is it possible and what would the co commitant syptoms (symptoms) be??

Hello,
This would be most unusual and I have never heard of this happening. Type 2 diabetes can have some of those symptoms of low blood sugars and this is the more likely scenario, especially given that insulinomas are very rare. I am sorry I could not offer more assistance in this regard.
