I was diagonised with diabetes type 2 last year, but not without suffering shame and embarasment from collegues and people that i came  into contact with they all said that i had body odor. however, i was put on medication and i believe the odor is gone. what can i do to make sure that this odor doesn't resurface?

Hi,
I am not sure what caused the odor--in severe diabetes that is not controlled, people can have an odd sweet smell that comes from ketones in the urine.  There is also a higher tendency to develop yeast infections that may have a slight odor. I cannot guarantee this, but if it was truly from poorly controlled diabetes then your best bet is to keep your sugars well in check.
