sore/painful nipples

Dear Dr. Ramsetty, these are the medications I am on:
Micardis    80 mg
Plavix        75 mg
Actos        45 mg  (generic)
asprin        325 enteric
Glipizide ER  5 mg  (generic)
Lopid          600 mg   (generic)
Vytorin        10/20     (generic)
Could one of these cause the painful nipples?

Hi Brian,
None of those medications jump out at me as a typical cause of your symptoms(does not mean absolutely that none of them may be contributing). If you have breast enlargement, that may be the cause itself and you still need an evaluation for that.
Please do speak with your doctor about going forward with other tests to determine the cause of your symptoms.This should be done as soon as possible.
