RadioTherapy Painfull After Effects

by Staschou, Nov 19, 2008 12:02PM
I have metachronous soft-tissue sarcoma (MFH sub-type) since 2000. For 4 presentations on my lower-
left paraspinal muscles, I had IMRT treatments. Since 4 years after those treatments, I have increasing
pain and "dead" surface-skin feeling at the left thoracic and upper lumbar areas. I am on daily NSAIDS
and Tylenol medications, but with little short-term relief.

I have had CTs over the areas but do not show any new growths.

The clinic radiologist "can't suggest anything.......".

What do you say?

Thanks,

Stan (aka "Staschou")
