Anal Fissures

My doctor assumed I had hemmorrhoids because of the bleeding.
I had a banding procedure scheduled but when he did his scope
he realized I had anal fissures and no internal hemmorrhoids. He recommended I do Botox treatments. Problem is - no one in San Diego does it. So I don't know what to do. The bleeding and pain is intense. Almost to a point of passing out. My doctor has basically not return any calls and says sorry no one in SD does it so you need to goto a pain managment doc. Can anyone help me?
Yes I have changed my diet, doing metamucil and stool softners, no red meat and still major blood and pain. Problem is now 4 months old.

I also had fissures which lasted almost a whole year. Mine started last november (after the birth of my son) and now are almost completly healed.  I did the metamucil, stool softeners etc... I guess they just take lots of time. I know they are horrible, hang in their.
