I have been diagnosed with gastritis. I take calcium
supplements for my bones, but stopped taking it while
I stomach was bothering me. It seems to be feeling
some better since I have taken Prilosec. I took my
calcium and my stomach or something else. Has anyone
heard of calcium being irritating to the stomach. If
so, how can I get the calcium I need, since I am
supposed to eliminate dairy products from my diet because
of the gastritis. I have also tried soy milk. Is
is ok to use? Will it be okay while I am being treated
for gastritis?
I have gastritis. Have been watching my diet. Trying
to cut out coffee and tea. Is decaffinated coffee or tea
allowed on a diet for gastritis. I need to take calcium
for my bones. I have not been taking it for about 2 weeks
I decided to take it with my dinner. Within 2 hours I was
in pain. Does anyone have this problem with calcium supplements?
Is is supposed to be irritating to the stomach? If I don't take
calcium and can't have dairy products, how can I get my calcium.
Well thanks, sounds like a good test to have done.
I too will have a Ct of the abdomen , Have had many Mri's CT's unfortunately. My concern is the contrast : As soon as they gave me the injection, It was cold and I had chest pain and a racing heart with numerous pvc's. Fear. The MRI is fine and you can listen to music. The injection sometimes required with mri's has less side effects.......
I had two as well. It will show tumors, (Cancer) abnormalities of the organs, etc, etc. It's very simple!
I had ct scan years ago. They can see whether or not you have gallstones. The only thing they saw on mine were some "Fatty tumors".
