Does this sound like gallbladder symptoms to you?

I went to the doctor on Friday afternoon after 7 days of sharp pain that would start in my stomach (or so it felt) and radiate around to my back.  I was immediately scheduled for lab work and an abdominal ultrasound that evening because my doctor felt 85% sure it was my gallbladder.

Everything came back normal so she sent me home for the weekend to rest and follow up with her on Monday.  She mentioned that she may still want to do a HIDA scan.  

Since then I haven't had any of the sharp pain that I was having.  Only a pain/tightening between my shoulder blades, a feeling of constant fullnes and/or nausea, and some crampiness in my abdomen (diarrhea?).  

I'm afraid of going to the doctor tomorrow for followup and a possible HIDA scan when the original pain is SOOOOO much better.  Has anyone else experienced this?  Will the HIDA scan show a problem if I'm not in the midst of a full attack?

A HIDA scan will "mimic" an attack, and show how well the gall bladder does when stimulated. When my husband had his, the gall bladder never even showed up on the scan, because it was completely blocked, and ready to burst! Not something to fool around with, so get the necessary info to make an informed decision.
