Could it be due to changes to your diet?
Thanks for the suggestion...It seems to have tapered off, however I have alot more gas..I have been eating lightly and avoiding high fiber things. I have had some stress with a family member being admitted to the hospital recently and settling in to a new house. I think you are right with a bacteria cause I have also been dealing with a minor bronchial infection.
I do not have any pain, nor have I lost weight or any of the symptoms of Inflamed Bowel Syndrome. But I wonder if my gall bladder is helping fight off this infection because I have a very slight pain, not constant, under my diaphragm close to the right side. Nothing sharp... If it gets worse or doesn't get better in the next few days I will head for the gastroentologist.
If this change has only been there for 2-3 days, it is most likely a change from a virus or bacterial which will normalize on its own. However, if this is a change which does not improve in a week or two or at anypoint gets worse, you need to get to your family doctor and get checked out. They can do stool tests to look for infection and if it persists a colonoscopy to look for inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). This may be related to stress and fall under the category of Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Keep a close eye on things and get into to see your family doctor if this is a continual problem.
