'Fluttery' feeling in upper right stomach/n

About two weeks ago I started having an unusual "fluttery" feeling in my upper right stomach. The discomfort would come and go, but didn't seem to be directly connected to anything. Last night, I had diarrhea/nausea and today the "fluttering" seems to be worse and more consistent. I noticed on this forum that Jamie Holt asked a similar question to mine back in 2000, but there didn't appear to be any response. Any idea what this problem could be?

Colonix was my life saver. 8 years ago I was a medical mess. I suffered from candida, hemorrhoids, constipation, allergies and list goes on. My doctor gave me my wake up call and I was terrified by what she told me. A friend of mine gave me my first colonix and I was skeptical right from the beginning. I figured I had nothing to lose. It wasn't until I was into the second month that I saw some amazing results and things that were eliminated from my body. It wasn't pretty yet I felt great. I also saw a naturopath at that time to change my eating habits and have never looked back. I initially did a 3 month cleansing program and have incorporated the colonix program into my life each year and sometimes 2x. I even lost 10 lbs!
My medical problems of the past are non existant and I owe it all to colonix. It will help get you on the track of great health.

Hi:

I had this also.  It's gone now.  With all due respect to western medicine, my cure came with a liver cleanse.  I have never followed homopatheic medicine, never took herbs, and never took vitamins.  I thought they were a huge waste of time, and possibly dangerous.  I was very skeptical of anyone who discussed this stuff.  Then came my gallbladder attack.

Two ultrasounds later, there are no stones, but a fatty liver.  My doctor had me scheduled for an MRI, which also showed nothing except a cyst on my liver.  I was in such pain, my stomach was bloated, and I felt toxic all the time.  I'm 50, and I thought that I was pretty much done with my life.  I even, stupidly, took a pregnancy test because those flutters felt like when I was pregnant!  My husband thought I was crazy, but was damn nervous during that test...of course it was negative.

Then my friend, who is an OB/GYN, and into holistic medicine turned me onto Dr. Hulda Clarks site.  I took the liver cleanse there, and amazingly enough, I improved immediately!  I lost over 500 stones on my first try, 1000 stones on my second....it's absolutely amazing!  I feel 25 years old.  And to top that off I decided to do a parsite  cleanse, and when I did that, the fluttering totally stopped.  I got that from DrNatura for a product called Colonix.  There is no bad feedback anywhere for this product, and it has done wonders for me.  I  have lost 45 pounds, my blood pressure is way down, and I no longer feel like my stomach is an alien being attached to me.

Now, I know all of you are on a traditional medical website, and I completely understand if you feel reluntant to look into this, but just do a little research.  I'm so glad I did.  My life is so much better, and I didn't have to lose my gallbladder to do it.

Good luck to all of you.

Ann

I have that too. Its very nauseating at times and other times not be ther at all.I have had a ct scan and it didnt show any gall stones and i have no sharp pain just sort of a dull ache at times. Do you guys think this could be my gall bladder. I have had this for 18 months and been to several doctors. I was back and forth from university so none of my doctors comunicate so every time i see one its starting from scratch. My latest doctor thinks it could be my pancreas. I sure hiope its my gall bladder. Is your guys fluttery feeling right under your ribs about an inch and a half right of the center

So today, I felt really nauseous, headache-y and have been running a low grade fever. The fluttery feeling has generally passed (though I can still feel it occasionally). I have no idea what's going on especially since I recently had an ultrasound that was supposedly normal. Can't tell if it's food related, but that wouldn't cause a fever. Good luck with your test. I'm curious to hear how it goes.

Any discomfort in the right upper quadrant can be due to the liver and gallbladder.  An abdominal ultrasound of the area would be a reasonable test to look for any anatomical abnormality.

A fluttering feeling can also be cardiac related.  An EKG can be done to evaluate the heart rhythm.  If this is associated with heart palpitations, a cardiac event monitor or Holter monitor can also be considered for longer-term heart monitoring.

If there is a worsening of nausea, you can also consider an upper GI series or upper endoscopy to evaluate the upper digestive tract.

These options can be discussed with your personal physician.

Followup with your personal physician is essential.

I happen to have similar symptoms. It's not really a pain, but like you said a fluttery feeling, as if something isn't working right in the upper right side of my chest. I also have had nausea and weight loss for 2 months. I went to have an UltraSound and they found "a little bit of sludge" in my gallbladder. Not saying you gallbladder is messed up for sure, but it sounds possible.

Thanks for your thoughts. I just had an ultrasound recently (before this problem started oddly enough) and apparently it was normal. I know my doctor would be reluctant to send me for another so soon. It's just such an uncomfortable feeling and comes and goes so I can't pinpoint it to anything. What did you end up doing about it?

There could be other GI causes than the gallbladder, or it may not even have to do with the digestive system. My diagnosis is still "in progress" as this week I am scheduled for a HIDA scan to determine for sure if my gallbladder is the problem. Just to followup.. I am 19, no other health problems, and this suddenly started happening to me after Christmas when I had the stomach flu. I have also lost a lot of weight (20-25pounds) which is a big risk factor for gallbladder problems.
