I am a forty three year old female, diagnosed with Lupus. For the past year I have had abnormal LFT. Ultrasound show - fatty liver, portal hypertension, spleomegaly, enlarged liver. Doc's are bouncing between what should be done -- one recommends specialist, PCP wants more blood test. Any recommendtations on what my next ource of action should be?
I have studies a lot about Lupus over the years as I have a constant fever, digestive problems, fatigue and the works. I know Lupus can be tricky to control. You really need to find a good dr. and let them keep up the test. I work with a 61 yr.old who has Lupus. She was only given a wk. to live when she was diagnosed at age 24. Today they know so much about it that you have a great chance of overcoming everything.
