I have heard that after a gallbladder removal a person's eyesight is better and diabetes is cured. Is this true?

Don't run and have your gallbladder removed!  I know several people with diabetes and no gallbladder, many, in fact developed the diabetes AFTER gallbladder removal.

Do not know about diabetes being cured........but my eyesight never got better after my gallbladder surgery.  Still nearsighted.

I would think that if having your gallbladder out cured diabetes, there would be a run on gallbladder removal surgery.
