Check out my website about Celiac Disease. This sounds very similar to your symptoms. I suffered for years until being diagnosed and switching to a gluten free diet.
You can request a simple blood test from your physician.
Good Luck,

YOUR LIVER HAS ALOT TO DO WITH SUGAR, PROTEINS AND DIGESTION. HAVE A HEPATITIS TEST JUST TO RULE THAT OUT. IF YOU WILL, CONSIDER YOUR LIVER AS THE BRAIN FOR YOUR DIGESTION SYSTEM. IT TELL ALL YOUR NUTRIENTS WHERE TO GO. BETTER DO A THOROUGH TEST ON YOUR LIVER FUNCTIONS. LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU FIND OUT. ***@****.
Gosh THANKS EVERYONE for such wonderful response! I actually am hypoglycemic, however it's always been very manageable and no where near this dramatic. Like I can take the shaky weak feeling when my blood sugar usually drops and multiply it by a nervous breakdown, that's how I feel. I'm starting to wonder if my liver function is so dampened that it's making my sugar problem much much worse. All I know is I gotta eat or I'll die. Does your liver have this much involvement in sugar processing? I thought it was primarily the pancreas.
Also to needabreak - thanks a lot for the tip about heavy metal toxicity! It does sound a lot like what I'm feeling like. Very interesting, thanks!
This can be something releated with your blood sugar level. I'm hypoglycemic, too. When it is bad, I feel like you feel.
I also meant to post my email address. Feel free to contact me if you like.

Whoa!! These sound like a lot of the symptoms (I just read about these!) of "heavy metal toxicity". I could be way off on this, but am just recently considering this as part of my problem. I found information regarding this at www.luminet.net. ...just a thought, check it out. Do see a doctor and ask lots of questions.
I'm no doctor, but it sounds like you could have hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). I was diagnosed with hypoglycemia three years ago after under-going a 6 hour glucose tolerance test.
Try out this site.

You need to return to your physician and tell him what is going on. Your levels may be back up again. When the liver is out of wack you will have all the symptoms you described. I am not sure why you quit taking your medications but I would not do something like that unless I consult my doctor first. Good Luck!
I'm not sure about your other symptoms, but being tired and finding it hard to breathe sounds almost like anemia (low iron). Have they checked you for anemia? Even though you are taking a multivitamin, I would have them check for that. A blood test is all it takes. If they find anemia, then they need to see what is causing it. Don't know if you are male or female, but usually in females it's heavy periods.
It sounds like you need to get to Doctor. If you're seeing one, and they aren't helping you, then go to another one.
