PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi,
I had some rectal bleeding which occurred intermittently over about 3 weeks. In all cases the blood was bright red and either separate from the stools in the bowl on the two occassions or just on the toliet paper.

Since I was worried I went to the specialist last week, and I was examined and he examined me using the sigmoidoscopy and found some piles and so I have been diagonosed with some very small piles; that's all, more or less what I had suspected. The sigmoidoscopy was over in like 10 secs. was that enough for a thorough look into my rectum and lower colon?

I have had no more bleeding since two weeks ago, and my stools are normal, I haven't lost weight, no appetite loss or anything else. HOWEVER I often for the last two weeks, the moment I wake up from bed, I have this nasuea that lasts maybe 3-4 minutes at the most and then the moment I literally get up from bed, i.e. stand up, I'm fine and the naseua just vanishes!
This morning though I didnt have nasuea, I had this weird, dull pain around the region where my colon probably is, but again in about 10 minutes it was over, and the moment I got up out of bed I was fine. My other very occassional symptoms include slight tight, dull aches in my lower left abdominal region, slight nasuea in the morning as I mentioned and this very distinct strange stomach noises like churning and squirting. I must mention that I had 3-4 panic attacks which caused anxiety symptoms like dizziness and nasuea but that cleared up now.
I forgot to mention - Im 18 years old.
Are this any of these smyptoms a cause for concern?

Hey Katey!

Thanks very much for the reply.  Yes I too was pretty sure that it was hemmorhoids since the blood was bright red.  Recently Ive taken some Anusol for the piles and today when I had a bowel movement I noticed like a shade of white ON one of the big stools, as if someone had painted on it!  I suppose its from the Anusol, since the suppository is white too!
I had no stomach or abdominal pain or aches today but what do you think about that?  Is it just everyday aches and pains that everyone gets?
As you might have gathered yes I did worry intially that I could have bowel cancer, as I had the rectal bleeding, but I have no history of it and yeah Im only 18, so....its virtually impossible.
Have u had a colonscopy?  I think I might have one sometime next year if some of the symptoms continue, but I heard its really uncomfortable and not worth doing unless youve had black stools or been passing dark red blood or severe abdominal pain and so on..
Where do you live?
And how come like me you know soo much???  lol
and by the way Merry Christmas!!
lol

oh i feel your pain, lol.  try not to worry, the blood is from the piles.  bright red blood, especially when its seperate from the stool indicates that you're bleeding from very low, probably your anus where those hemmorhoids would be.  You're too young to have anything else, (i'm 18 as well, and i just went through ALL sorts of tests for the same symptoms you described.)  Hemmorhoids cause bright red blood, and bright red blood means that the blood is fresh, and has not been partially digested, and the sigmoidoscopy was exactly what was needed to make a diagnosis.  If the blood was coming from any higher up, it would be black or maroon.  You're ok!! i promise!! if you're worried, ask me anything.  like i said, i was bleeding for 4 months and have had every scope imaginable, lol, and i'd be glad to help relieve some of your worry since i just had this problem.
