Pain in left side next to wasteline

I have a pain in left side about wasteline area, it hurts to move, and it hurts when I stand and start to walk.  It hurts around the side too.  Please help--what can it be? I had stomach stapled and I dont want any more hospitals! They just do surgery when not necessary on me and I cannot take anymore.  Thanks.

I woke up and the pain was there, now this morning it is killing me in my lower spine and to the left into the waist when I walk or move my left leg it hurts.  I thought it was maybe a muscle strain too, now my spine.  I dont want to go to a doctor if it is only strain.  They will do more x-rays and I have had enough with the other problems I have. Thanks:)

How long has this pain been going on? It could be a muscle strain. You may have slept wrong on it. If it has been going on for a while or it persists, consult your physiscian.
