So much stomach pain

I have had many stomach pain attacks since last February 2001 and have seen so many doctors, emergency rooms, tests, and no one could find out where the pain is directly coming from.  Ended up with a dx of IBS but still lots of pain and discomfort. Use all kinds of stomach spasam pills and have prolonged difficulty with constipation.  Is there a treatment for non-specific stomach pain?

I went 3 or 4 years of having stomach pain everyday.  Every time I ate it hurt, so I just skipped alot of meals.  Someone at work suggested I try the natural herb Papaya.  Ifgured what have i got to lose.  That was about 4 months ago. Although I'm not pain free, I chew 2 or 3 Papaya after every meal and I am much better.  Most drug stores and grocery stores have it and all health food stoes have it.

Well I don't know what's wrong in your case. But if you do have IBS, you can try (but this only works in 30 % of cases that I know of, fortunately for my mom it works) taking one zantac a day and see if that helps the severity and attacks. If you have something else, I really don't know what to tell you, but if that's what you have as far as I know of you just have to suffer through it, unless they have come up with something new.
