i have had diarhea for three days now. normally i wouldnt have a problem, but it comes on very quick, without cramping or anything, it is extremely watery, in fact last night it looked like water. it is almost as if i were urinating thru my anus, thats how watery it is. it has been having this weird orange oily substance that ends up floating on the toliet bowl water. the stool may have some small chopped up pieces, but usually none. mmy abdomen hurts at times incredibly bad(this is in the three days i have had this problem), really reallyy bad. i do not know what is wrong with me, and got extremely nervous when i saw clear liquid come out the other night. please help. this doesnt happen like once or twice a day, its more like 8 times a ady.
Christine, you need to see a doctor and have a stool culture done, and probably some blood work. Liquid, watery stools can have solids visible. Has your diet recently changed? Have you recently traveled? Have you been around any sick children? There are many possible reasons for your symptoms, including gastritis. Only a physician can diagnose your problem. Drink plenty of clear fluids to prevent dehydration. Avoid eating fatty/fried foods until you know the source of your diarrhea, they will only make things worse. Best of Luck
The same thing happened to me last week, i thought hard about waht i had eaten the days previous and attributed the oily diarrhea to WOW brand chips with olestra. I have eaten them alot since they came on the market with no problem. I have stayed away from them since then and the diarrhea has gone......just a thought!
LPR= Laryngeal-Pharyngeal Reflux. (Larynx=voice box, containing the 2 vocal cords. Pharynx=throat, above the larynx. The larynx is above the trachea/windpipe.)
Reflux=acidic or alkaline stomach material that backs up into the esophagus (food tube), causing any of these problems: VCD/Vocal Cord Dysfunction/Laryngospasm attacks, cough, voice problems, asthma, globus (feeling of lump in throat), constant need to clear throat, worsening of sinus condition, sore throat, pre-cancerous conditions of throat &/or esophagus, etc.
SOME GER/LPR CONTROL THINGS WE DO, that we learned from the excellent book: STOMACH AILMENTS AND DIGESTIVE DISTURBANCES, by Michael T. Murray, N.D. See page 9, References, in my website: http://cantbreathesuspectvcd.com and, also see GER/LPR info on page 5, and on LINKS page.
PLEASE READ THIS GREAT BOOK. It may possibly be bought on-line, from Michael T. Murray
I hope you reconsider, and NEVER eat any more of those dangerous FAKE FATS!! Your digestive system could possibly be permanently damaged. I wouldn't take a chance, if it was me.
If smokers can quit, you too can quit eating dangerous "food" products.
There are other yummy snacks that are not dangerous to eat. Think about this, and I sure hope you will avoid putting dangerous, harmful chemicals into your digestive system, even though the snack tastes good.
The later results may be so bad, that really it's not worth ruining your health.
Hope you feel better soon, and choose safer yummy snacks! :-)
I have a feeling that FAKE FATS will eventually be taken off the market, because they are too harmful for many people's digestive systems. Doctors are reporting many cases like yours (digestive damage due to FAKE FATS), and hopefully the FDA (Food & Drug Administration) will someday start to listen to these docs.
