Thank you for the web site. I looked in our local stores and could'nt find the primal defense. I am going to see a rlative in Florida and I will look there for the primal defense or order off the web. I will try limiting the carbs. I wish I could do a no carb but being a diabetic taking insulin the no carb diet has been a disaster--- whacked my blood sugars. I thank you for your response. I just want to have my life back
I can definitely symphathize with what you are going through. I had the worst 3 month bout of pure watery diarrhea and intentinal grumbling that I think anyone could ever have. Like you, I was at my rope's end, until I started treating myself for Candidiasis and IBS. Now, I have absolutely perfect bowl movements and no noise or problems whatsoever with my intestines or stomach. Most doctors are not going to bother to treat you for the real cause..you have to take matters in your own hands.
I can tell you what saved me. First, you have to embark on a high protein/low carb - no sugar, diet. No sugars, candies, SODAS!, potatoes, pasta, bread. Second, get your hands on some Primal Defanse immediately! Take 10 tablets a day; 5 each an hour before lunch and an hour before dinner. Additionally, I treated myself with an herb that kills yeast infections specifically and a probiotic which consisted of mega doses of good bacteria for the gut. I don't know the names of those other two medicines, but if you are interested, I have the bottles at home and I can write to you and tell you exactly which ones they are. For now...get the Primal Defense and feel better! I noticed dramatic results within a couple of days and what may be a possible cure after two weeks of continuous treatment. I will know if it really cured me after I stop taking the pills.
Here is a great link describing Primal Defense:

I buy primal defence from my local health food store. While you are there, get the book Patient Heal Thyself and read it. It is a good place to start. I agree that Rx drugs for yeast are necessary for candida. Go to www.drcranton.com and read also. Sugar is called the sweet poison for a very good reason. It is just that. You need a doctor that believes in candida and all that it causes and is willing to treat you for it. God bless
Can you advise where I might find a probiotic. I must admit that I tried adkins last year and my bowel symptoms did improve. Unfortunately, I had horrible headaches and could'nt keep my blood sugars well regulated. I was never on long term therapy of antibiotics as a teenager, but did receive them during periods of infections, ear, strep ect
To answer your question:
1) Foul burping and symtoms consistent with gastric emptying may confused with GERD.
I would suggest a referral to a GI. An upper endoscopy can evaluate for most upper GI disorders (including inflammation or ulcers). GERD can be diagnosed with at 24-hr pH study (which would be the most comprehensive test).
If you are having change in bowel habits, an endoscopy such as a colonoscopy or flexible sigmoidoscopy can be considered to make sure there is no anatomical abnormality.
If all the tests are negative, treatment for irritable bowel may be considered. You mentioned you are already taking fiber. Antispasmodic agents, or specialized IBS drugs such as Zelnorm or Lotronex may be considered.
Followup with your personal physician is essential.

I will also add that your diarhea is possibly constipation and only watery feacal matter is seeping around the impacted material. I suggest a good bowell cleanser, probiotic, green drink, lots of good clean pure water, no sugar whats so ever!!!!, enzymes when you do eat. That's a start anyhow. Were you treated with antibiotics as a teen? I agree with the above poster, you probably do have a horrendous yeast overgrowth so the probiotic ought to help repopulate your intestines with good bacteria to help reduce the yeast. God bless
It's highly probable you have a yeast infection or rather because of the length of time you have suffered a gut dysbiosis
