stomach pains after I eat?

Starting happening about 4-5 days ago, after I eat I seem to be getting these stomach aches.  Last for 1-2 hours or so.  It is bearable, but leaves me wondering why?  I haven't changed my diet or anything, not sick in any other way.  I am 29 and in pretty good health.  Is this some kind of stomach flu?

I have had stomach pains now for a a week only after I eat and sometimes it feels like someone is stabbing me over and over and over and the pain is so bad that I have wanted to scream. The pain is staying longer and longer and it is getting worse I have never had this and I need to know if I should see a doctor or not. I have had one person tell me it is the gallbladder but I don't have a gallbladder it was removed last year with stones in it and a chrinc infection. So I know that is not it but now I have to find out what it is and do something.

The nurse and pharmacist : Felt many are in the same family and would cause the same effect. I would prefer to think otherwise and find some relief although when your engine acts up it is more than alerting, Plus it is a 24hour deliverance , Wish they offered a 6 hour for ones first try.
I have Pepcid over the counter or do you suggest I phone my G>I> doctor ?
I wanted to try Prilosec But the rep said Nexium is stronger and that did not suppress your acid.
Protonix
Aciphex were suggested as well
Thanks,

Note that Ranitidine is the generic name for Zantac. The side effects you have mentioned are rare, but it is worth giving all the H2 blockers a try since the side effects are not known to be serious or long term. Pepcid ac may be your next choice.

Alomost certainly one of two problems. The MOST likely is an ulcer my friend. Get some ZANTAC or PEPCID, noiw sold over the counter. If an ulcer, symptoms should clear in a couple days. If they do not see a Dr to consider whether you have gallstones. In a male of your age this is not that common however. Goold luck form a nurse anesthetist.

The past years of consuming alcohol beverages, and to a mild extent; This has and will always be present throughout my life of the recent pains associated with GURD; I haven't consumed alcohol of the past (7) months, and have stopped completely.
I am currently on a medication called CELEXA 10 mg each daily *citolopram, in which; I notice this medicine has helped me take the edge off, but....i still have this protruding knot, under the rib cage that protrudes out about an inch, and can be very painful, nauseated; and not hungry/loss of interest to foods. I sometimes have to push/rub it lightly for it to go away/inward. **My grandmother had her gallbladder removed.  ??

Do you get any heartburn and is it your upper stomach ?
Keep a food diary to see if maybe a food is the cause.
Do you know if a G.I. doctor reviews these questions as well ? Sure would be helpful too.
