Every morning, I wake up and my stomach is completely flat but throughout the day it swells and swells until, by midday it is so large that I actually look pregnant and can't fit into many of my clothes even though I buy clothes a size larger especially. As well as this, I sometimes get extremely severe stomach pains and have fainted as a result. Whenever I am worried or stressed, I get diarrhea and get very weak as a result. I have tried cutting out certain foods but this didn't help. I also seem to be getting very weak and often faint, or get extremely nauseous for apprently no reason. Also, after every meal I feel physically sick and have vomitted after meals. I also find that after eating a few mouthfuls I feel full and sick but, if I don't eat more, I faint. Please, please please can someone help me?
I would suggest you get an appointment with a gastroenterologist and have this looked into as soon as possible. It could be any number of digestive related problems, many of which have similar or overlapping symptoms as you describe. It sounds as though it could either be a gallbladder or pancreas related problem. A specialist would be able to arrange the necessary tests to reach a more definitive diagnosis.
ask your dr about a gastric emptying scan. i felt the same way and after eating just several bites i would feel so full for hours and sick. they found out that my food was just sitting in my stomach and very very slowly would empty out. just a thought
suffering I HAVE THE SAME EXACT PROBLEM! i can fit into my jeans in the moring but throughout the day when i get around my stomach swells up and my pants are soo tight i get bruises around my waist and in the moring they fit fine. Its got to be the worst thing. Ive tried cutting out foods, try not drinking milk, nothing works. Well actually there is a new medicine it worked for me for awhile its called Robinol its a nonnarcotic med that works just on the gut doesnt make u tired but relieves the bloating swelling and pain. This doesnt help the whole thing but it gives me a little relief. i found it works best if i take it before meals. u should ask your doc about it.Also i have the same nasua problem. I cant eat cuz im soo nausiated but then when i do force myself to eat i get intense intense pain and already feel full after the first few bites. then i know i haveto eat more because due to this problem ive developed hypoglycemia, when ur blood sugar is low and u faint, u could also have this. So i hate the feelings i get when i dont eat so i force it down and it seems like im screwed either way. It definatly isnt a pleasant experience. When your stomach fills up do u find that u have a lot more gas then the norm. I mean mine is horrible wicked loud and all the time and if u try to hold them in the pain gets worse. ALso if u sit down for awhile do u feel u get sharp pains and feel like your appendix has burst or something. It definatly sux. No one believed me when i had it... well here is my story...
Hey, I am a 18 yearold female. Ive had digestive problems since i was 8. It started with mild reflux but over the years started tyo erode my stomach, pancreas, and most of all my esophugus. I was on every med you can imagine for this but the damge just kept geting worse, even on those meds my acidity level was about 2.0 when anything less than 4 i believe is bad. So i had a nissan fundoplication, it came un-done, we repeated the surgery 2 yrs later. Well i was okay for a little while but then i started having symptoms again.intense lower belly pain, and swelling, vomiting nausia, gagging, constantly being dehydrated. I know something was wrong but no one wanted to do any testing they said it was impossible for it to come undone again and said i just wanted to have testing done again. So they stuck me into a place known as Bader 5 at Boston Childrens. This was a mental house. ! as soon as i got out i kepyt telling everyone to believe me, finally a year later my mom finally saw my symptoms get worse i began pooping blood as well as very dark stool. on one occasion the entire toilet bowel was red, u couldnt even see in it. So she rushed me to the ER and they did a simple upper GI and i was right. Now im having worse symtoms and i cant figure out what it could be they dont fit together my symptoms are daily bloating, i was diagnosed lactosr intolerant so i stay away from that food, but my jeans fit well in the moring and as soon as i get out my stomach swells out like im pregnant and its awful pain. I know its gas because as soon as i get to a place i can release its quite evident but i have no idea what is causing this. I have daily spouts of nasua a hell of a time swallowing things like bread they feel stuck in my chest. I belch all the time. i get headaches almost daily. My mouth seems to dry out and i cant swallow when im very nausiated. I have reflux, hyperacidity, poop bright red blood and vomit and i want to know what in the hell is wrong with me. Im wondering if anyone has ideas my GI doc has put me on Rubinol for the pain (nonnarcotic), miralax to try to stimulate me to go to the bathroom and 40 ml prilosec and im scheduled to get a colonoscopy and endoscopy sometime soon but does anyone here have any similar symptoms or have any tips for me? anything would be appriciated my email address is ***@**** and my name is Kim
