what color should your bowels be?

Iknow that tarry and black are not good cause it could be blood also bright red.any inputs?

Hi Maria.

Your stools should be brown in color. Anything "ReallY dark should be checked into. It all depends on what types of food you eat as well.

Stool colors vary, food and meds play a role.Normal stool colors include.tan, green, orange,brown, dark brown
