Electricity Blackout during HIV Testing

Hello,

Does anyone who work at a lab could tell me how are the procedures on clinical labs regarding HIV testing when there is a blackout on the electrical power supply?

I imagine that the Labs on most industrialized countries have UPS (Uninterruptible power supply) on the electrical general boards, but when they dont' have it what would happen to the blood speciemes that are on the HIV testing machine? Does the machine has an energy battery supply or they need to perform another test?

Thank You.

Regards
